Day One Program
The Zeta Pi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. created this program to welcome, share knowledge and offer advice to the incoming freshman of the class that year at our annual Day One Program. This event is an excellent opportunity for the incoming freshmen to meet one another as well as other students on campus as we offer important advice for first year students in an interactive, fun environment.
Topics of discussion have included:
- Brief history of African Americans at UGA
- Campus Resources
- Choosing Classes/Managing Your GPA
- Study Habits
- Athens Nightlife
- Dining Habits
- Student Organizations
AND MUCH MORE…TO HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR UGA EXPERIENCE
PLUS after the short discussion, we encourage everyone to enjoy light refreshments and meet the students who are in attendance.
